House plant bugs

I have white bugs on my house plant. They don't seem to move, and they don't look alive, but there seem to be more and more of them.
What are they and how do i get rid of them?

Sounds like it might be mealy bug. Spray with a plant insecticide and check on the label to see if it says it kills mealy bug.

Could also be wooly aphid...treatment as above
