good news thunderbird+ and wendys my poor sick looking clematis has sprung into life and has loads of new shoots popping up .

Well, my Requiem Mass for it obviously didn't work. !!
After all it has suffered you are now under a moral obligation to care for it lovingly and talk to it tenderly every night before you go to bed !!

Isn't nature amazing? Just when you think something has given up the ghost it surprises you and develops a new lease of life. Perhaps it was suffering from delayed shock and is now getting over it.

Thats great news tinkertontom, after all its been through, I think it deserves a 2nd chance! Faith is a wonderful thing.

thanks for your replys ,it was a plant that was here already when we moved in three years ago, the place belonged to an old lady who died here so I think that she is keeping an eye on it ,I shall certainly look after it now as its made sure it is not going without a fight
