Looking at putting a multifuel stove in conservatory. We have a 2 /12 meter wall with windows on top. What sort of flue do I need and how long does it have to be if we're looking at having a bend to go through the outside wall?

That sounds a difficult proposition, there are so many buiding regulations about stoves and flues these days, bends have to be shallow and it has to go pretty much to the roof of the house - you'd need an double skinned insulated flue that's cool to the touch I think.

It is possible but I'll reckon it'll be very expensive if you can get somebody to take it on.

you would be better ensuring that it extends above the apex of the roof to prevent blowbacks and downdraights. Hard@it

Weve got a multifuel stove on our boat, the "chimmney pipe" does get really hot- i dont know if its a different "rule" for a house stove though , these sort of fires can be either top or back outlet..and the back outlet is roughly a foot from the base of the fire , with it being in your conservatotory i would opt for the back "outlet" especially if you have children-and as long as the "chimney" is not where the children could grab the "pipe" (if they could) otherwise a "top" fitting is best. as for legnth of "pipe" thats a tricky one as you dont want the smoke blowing back into your conservatotory or the upstairs window-all i can say is put a "pipe" legnth higher then your back bedroom - hope ive explained it ok :)
