I've had them flowering nonstop now for at least 6 weeks! Water them in well at first and them just occaisionally to keep them moist.
For hanging baskets, at this time of year I'd go for pre planted petunias or trailing fuchsias, Rays nasturtiums are good too, I grow them from seed every year, soooo easy! Good Luck. T bird+

Hey ~posy-jo~
You've already been given some good choices.
As Tbird+ says mems have such gorgeous colours, unusual leaves (look like their coated), and easy to grow, as are the geraniums that G'girlmentioned (they don't 'mind' if you forget to water them!).
Not forgetting sparky, with his nasturtiums

Not forgetting sparky, with his nasturtiums cascading over the pots, they are also delicious added to salads as they have a light mustard taste!!
