Potted minature cyclamen

Last winter I was given a minature cylamen. i was expecting the leaves to go yellow and die back shortly after flowering when I would have reduced and then totallty stopped watering. That did not happen it has continued to grow and is now flowering again! Should I have stopped watering a little while after it had finished flowering any way and forced it to die down? I would like to enjoy the current flowers and those that are coming but what should I do then? Stop watering and force it into a dormant state for 2 or 3 months before repotting and watering again ? I keep it on the kitchen window cill where it gets good daylight but only a little early mornig sun. I feed it occasionally with a little Phostrogen. It is always watered from below.

I have some minature cyclamens but they are an outdoor variety. Perhaps you should check and see if you can plant yours outdoor where they flower early in the spring

i've got two of these plants which I put outside after they'd finished flowering and they started to die back. However mine too have burst into life again and have flowers. They really like a dormant period so once the flowers have died I'm going to let them die back in the pots in the garden, give them a rest, repot them and bring them indoors again in November. In previous years I've often planted them out into the garden in the shade of shrubs and they do flower lightly again in spring.
