Cant find an appropriate section to file this under, so here goes.. Can an executor of a will also be a beneficiary in the same will ?

Yes. My brother is executor of my parent's will & also a beneficiary. When you go to your solicitor they will fill you in on all the details including all the gen on succession.
I believe that the only people who cannot be beneficiaries of a will are the original witnesses
