asbestos roof tiles

Does anyone know a cheap way of finding out the amount of asbestos in our house roof tiles? They're all coming off soon and we need to know what sort of skip we'll need etc. We don't really want to pay to have them analysed as we envisage this being v expensive. Our last valuation report says 'there is an asbestos slate roof which in due course will require replacement. Any help will be appreciated.

The big cost comes in removing them and disposal since this must be done by a Licensed Operator. You might as well get quotes now since it would be pointless an ABer just guessing. The work has to be done by properly trained staff in protective clothing and the material has to be packed during disposal and removed to a licensed tip.
