Hi there,
I am looking to buy quite a cheap 2nd hand Dyson as we have a very rubbish bagless pull along hoover. I would like to get a hoover that has very good suction as we have cats and are constantly hoovering up all their excess fur! I want to spend about 50-60, what Dyson model or other vacuum would any of you recommend I buy?

Hi, In defense of the Dyson. My dyson smelt of burning the other week and I guessed it was something serious. As I cannot do without a hoover | went and spent 90 on another bagless hoover which wasn't a DYSON just as a stop gap. It was rubbish in comparison. I went to a local electrician who told me that it was probably the motor burnt out on my Dyson and that they would charge 75 to repair it. Then I went onto the Dyson website and rang the customer services number - they sent out a Dyson engineer who replaced the motor and the brushes and its now like NEW - total cost 30. So anyone wanting to throw away their Dyson please do as we did - the absolute maximum charge is 55 and this would cover absolutely anything that is wrong with it. Hope this helps
