i have just been given a second hand greenhouse its in good condition i have dismanteld it but the base is set in concrete could i still fix it together and use it without the metal base

You don't say wether it is wood or aluminium The concrete base is to weigh it down cos in a high wind you won't want it to disappear over onto your neighbours garden

It definitely needs securing onto a base . Good luck in assembling it its a pity you could not have moved the frame in tact would have saved a lot of trouble
