hi joolzy sounds like you have an airlock easiest way is attach a hose pipe to your hot water feed on your washing machine tap from the mains cold water let rip until its cleared. hope that helps.....
Hi joolzy,

ianthe plumb, is dead right, for future jobs, when you are draining the system down, leave all the taps open until you have finished the job, then turn them off one at a time as the water comes through, you won't get air locks then, if the washing machine taps are awkward to get to open the hot tap at the lowest point put your mouth over the tap and suck the pipe, sounds a bit crude but it might draw the water through, good luck, Ray
