I have a big gas BBQ with the coals you add and just re-use,and I have to say that I find the food tastes just as nice. And its easier.Oh the memories of my dad trying to light a BBQ when I was a child, fanning it madly with a newspaper, and then proudly serving up his burnt offerings!! Everything was a varying shade of erm, black!!
Gas are much better, despite what traditionalists will tell you. You get 'coals' to put in between burners and grill which give the food a barbequed flavour, you can control the temp of the grill, and you don't have to wait an hour or so to get an even temperature across the bbq
Definately gas!
