Our house is under offer and our buyers want to buy some of our curtains. What sort of price is acceptable for curtains that cost about 900 (for fabric and to be made)? They are about 6 - 7 years old. Thanks

Would you want to take them to your new house? Would they fit the windows or your new decor?

If you really don't mind whether they buy them or not, try asking for 400 and be prepared to haggle.

However, if you'll be glad to see the back of them, about 150 is realistic.
Usually about 25% of the cost new is reasonable. But I agree depends whether you can use/want them when you move.

I always think its nice to have a fresh start and new stuff if you can.
I doubt anyone would pay more than 50 for them. No offence, but when you move house you only want to pay for items that the previous owner is leaving behind if they are a real bargain.
