i have just emptied my children pool, and it has left behind a terrible smell, the pool is about 10ft wide and had chlorine and ph to keep the pool fresh. but how do i get rid of this problem. I need it quickly before the neighbours start complaining and I can sit out in my garden again.

If the problem is the smell of chlorine, that should disappear over night or in a day or so.

I can't think what other smell you could have.

was told that b & q sell some kind of pool freshner that you add to the water

Doh! Sorry just re-read your post and saw that you had stuff to keep it fresh already but if you have that then why is it smelling? Have you used correct amount?
