Non-acetone nail varnish remover, or cheap aerosol hairspray. Apply a light amount and quickly dab with a white cloth. Test on the back of a chair or settee first.
sometimes wet wipes get biro off things. In fact it is amazing the powerful cleaning action of wet wipes and it makes me think that I shouldn't put them on my babe's skin.
Seriously, wet wipes might work. I have got blood off the sofa (which is fabric) with wet wipes and also use thme to cleam carpets.
i also have a cream leather suite, which quickly started to become discoloured and 'dirty' looking.
i went back to the shop who told me that i should not allow people to sit on the suite in dark coloured clothes - especially jeans !!!!!!!!
so beware ?(or make your guests strip!)
I agree with m.fifi have used standard baby wipes on leather sofa to lessen biro marks drastically on sofa. Please do a patch test somewhere not noticable first. Have also used them to get wax crayon off painted walls - nothing else shifted it!
I found a company online (Spotlessleather.com) and they have an Online cleaning service. Just pick the style of jacket and it will tell you what the cost is to not only clean it but to actually restore it to a like new condition. I have used them and they are very nice priced way below what you would think and it gets delivered right to your door. Check them out!
