Any idea how I can stop grey squirrels coming into my garden , digging up plants and leaving nuts around. My daughter has a nut alergy and I am worried she may pick one up

Dependant on the size of garden and if you want to keep all "visitors" out, you can get a gadget from garden centers which connects to a hose and works with a PIR sensor. When something comes within range it fires a jet of water at it. Fish keepers use them to keep Herons away from ponds.
Would this affect my plants crete?
Grey squirrels are vermin (rats with bushy tails) you are legally entitled to kill them In fact it is illegal to feed them You are allowed to catch them in traps but not to release them into the wild as they are not a native species.
