smelly kitchen cupboards

hi there does anyone know how to get rid of a damp smell in kitchen cupboards, i have tried bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar and essential oils but i cannot get rid of the smell , it means i have to leave the dishes on the draining board which i dont like doing. please if anyone has any ideas i would be grateful

we had this after we moved house! we tried everything and couldnt get rid of the smell, so we just hurried up with the new kitchen and thankfully the smell has gone!!

Are you sure its not something gone underneath the cupboard, may be worth taking the plinth off the bottom and have a look under the cupboards, you wouldn't believe how many dead mice I have found under these cupboards, not that I want to worry you!!

I to had a damp mould ysmell in my kitchen - when the kitchen was replaced I found that the water had been leaking probably over a very long period of time and it was actually the floor that was holding the damp smell - hence new floor boards and no smell!!
