Hi all. Is it my imagination or is there thousands of these about at the minute? There certainly seems to be here in Dublin

Yes Here in Glasgow too. My son's house is next to fields and he has them all over his doors and windows.Must be the unusually warm weather ,especially just now. They seem to be larger than normal as well. Good job they are harmless.

Yep, loads here in the east midlands, noticeable in the last couple of weeks. And they do seem to be monsters, yes.

We've had this the last couple of years about this time, early September.......all the spiders in the garden decide they want to come into the house! Maybe the evenings are getting colder or perhaps they just fancy watching a bit of telly???

we are surrounded by them as well in aberdeenshire. I would say this is the normal time for them but there just seems to be heaps more than usual
