What are the causes of a warm refrigerator?

1) Thermostat not turned down or not working? (check with a thermometer and replace the module if economic to do so. Should get down to 4 degrees at the bottom or less).
2) Door seal perishing? (Does it ice up at the back quickly)
3) Heat exchanger at the back blocked with dust or other? (Has it got a free air passage around it? Is it crudded up with dust? Does it feel hot to the touch?
4) Loss of refrigerant over the years? (Time for a trip to Currys)
if you have it filled this can also make it become warm, if its packed empty some stuff out
why not post this question on www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk ... they helped me out a while ago with a slightly different problem ...
