Hi There,
A friend of mine was in the process of buying his dream home, however a link in the chain has had thier mortgage application refused. If the vendor's of the dream home cannot wait for my friend, will his solicitors fee's be refunded, or can they be carried over to another property he finds?

Your friend`s solictor will have sent out a very clear letter outlining his terms and conditions, I would suggest that he has a good look at this
The fees are very unlikely to be refunded, nor can the 'work done' be used for another property. Unfortunately everything apart from stamp duty and the final money transfer fee will need to be repaid.
