how to remove spilt makeup from carpet

hi "somebody" spilt liquid foundation on my carpet, and i have tried everything to get it out, 1001, washing powder, vanish etc but nothing moved it.
Hate to think what the stuff does to your face!!!
Any how other than scrubbing with a hard bristle brush which seem to damage the fibers ...
Any help would be appreicated.

Have you tried nail vanish remover??

Have you tried make up remover? Or face cleanser? Might work!

yes to both, seems to be coming out slowly, little goes and often seems the way, a bottle of red wine would have been easer to deal with!!!
