You are falling into a well laid trap. In the year to date there has been 4 questions asking how to remove Artex. ( ave.1 every 44 days ). In the same period there has been 5 questions refering to, or complaining about, questions relating to Artex.
In the same lighthearted way as I presume you offered your advice I will offer a link to the Answerbank archives to anyone who can produce a doctors certificate etc. etc.

Oh well... Did you know that some old Artex contains asbestos?
Check out the previous questions and answers .... details of which artex contains asbestos are included.
