Stains on vinyl flooring

My kitchen flooring is very light and shows up everthing. If a bit of food gets on it and I don't see it immediately it will leave a bright yellow stain.I cannot remove it with anything -it wont even bleach- its almost as if it absorbs it.
Any ideas?

I had a similar stain in the inside of my fridge and i managed to remove it with cillit bang crystals after trying everything else!

just make sure you wear gloves when you use it

After you get the stain out would a heavy coat of floor wax of some kind keep it from happening?

As it's vinyl I didn.t think you could 'wax' it.I have bought some cillit bang crystals and will try this afternoon.Thanks.
