life insurance before we move in...

We've just exchanged contracts on a house (yey!) and plan to move the end of the month, we've got the house insurance and have started that, do we need to start our life insurance before we move? some people have said we need to others have said we don't... help

i would think that if the house is now yours you should start the life assurance asap.
Yes you need to start it asap. Once you own the house and have a debt on it you need to be insured, if your partner died before you moved in then the mortgage is still your responsibility despite that your not living there.

Try Norwich Union for life insurance, I found them to be really cheap recently.
