Last night my bathroom light switch (string pull type) stuck and I couldn't turn it on. This morning it works OK.
Can I spray it with WD40 or similar to stop it happening again? How do I get blood out of the bathmat caused by shaving in the dark.............

Cold salty water removes blood. If it is the small mat soak it. If it is larger dab with salty water on a cloth.
Hi Graham,

With regards to your light switch, replace it. It is not worth messing about with and for the sake of a couple of quid it is well worth the bother.

Regards
I've had the same switch problem a couple of times and have tried all sorts of remedies. But none worked for any length of time, and I agree with CSG's answer as the solution.
