Do you find charity collectors are getting more pushy when they come to your door, asking for you to take out direct debits. I practically had to ask one to push off politely the other day?

Lots of these especially the ones that stop you in the street are paid so there motive is mostly financial not altruistic
I have never had one at the door but the ones on the street are horrible! I had one swear at me because i politely said "No thanks" to him

The one I had was from the Red Cross. When I said no,because I`m not giving my bank details out,he asked if I was financially embarrassed. Cheeky toe rag.
they are getting paid for it, not doing it for charity, if they get 3 people per day to sign on, they will get paid 7 an hour, if not nothimg, i used to have to wlk past the science museum everyday at work, like zulus, loads of em, so i said how good of them it was giving up their spare time for charity, and then watched them squirm, knowing full well they are getting paid
