Is there anyway one can remove spots of superglue from a melamine tray and thermoplastic type flooring.?

Try using acetone. If you have got some nail varnish remover, see if it is acetone based.
It is very likely that the "footprint" will always be visible because superglue etches the surface of most of them with the possible exception of polypropylene. I suspect buffing through it might be the best approach.
