I have a Hercal Coil Indirect Cylinder (117 litres) with a Braukmann Auto Air Vent attached.... Should I also have a Cylinder Stat somewhere....? I can't seem to find it...its an old house and old boiler so nothings ever where it should be! Trying to find the cylinder stat to see if it could explain problems with my Raburn G33 not firing up when cold. Thanks!

The stat is usually on the boiler.

Yes there should definately be as cylinder stat on it. If using in conjunction with a Rayburn it should be a Dual Thermostat part No. TS7. ( if my memory serves me correct ). And it should be located approximately 1/3rd up from the bottom of the cylinder.
