washing powder - biological vs. non-biological?

what is the difference? if my clothes have no greasy spillages on them but are just a bit sweaty etc am I better using non-biological? I'm finding that the armpits are not washing very well with biological powder.

I rung the manifacturer about this and he answered that the Bio powder will get more of the stains out than Non-bio powder - and the non-bio is better for the environment.
The bio powder will be a little harsher on colours than the non-bio.
Biological is harsher and a lot of people have a reaction to it as it has more chemicals (I think). Non biological will probably not be any better for getting out the armpit stains but may be you can find a website that has ideas about this. Also try changing the brand you use.
