Indirect to direct cold water supply
2 Answers
Is there any reason why I cannot replace my indirect cold water system with a direct mains feed. I have recently installed a combi boiler which takes care of the central heating and means I no longer need an immersion heater.
As the upstairs sink, loo and shower will be fed by mains water pressure cold water (shower already has mains pressure hot from combi-boiler)do I need to do anymore than re-route the upstairs plumbing to bypass the cold water tank in the loft.

And get it passed by the council afterwards. Unless you are using engineers who are registered to self certify that is. Can't Understand why this was not all done when you had the boiler installed though as we normally do the job lot as a package ???
