External Security Lighting
3 Answers
Our high intensity external security lighting triggered itself on last night and wouldn't switch off again unless done manually. I've tried switching it on & off again to reset it but it still remains switched on in daylight. How can I correct this?
Also it has been regularly triggering itself ON & OFF recently in high winds, which is acutely irritating for our neighbours. Is there any way this can be remedied? Thanks.

One of ours did this. You can either buy a new, separate sensor and add this, or replace your whole light/sensor. We added a new sensor, which was quite good, as we could position it where it worked better, and leave the light where it lit best.
Although they aren't really supposed to do it, there's nothing you can do about the triggering in winds, apart from turn down the sensitivity (if your's has such a control). It may be the repeated on/off finally killed your's.
