Can I burn logs on my open fire. I'm not sure if I am in a zone where it it smoke free. If it is, then what would happen if someone reported me.

I find it a bit of a joke these days with everyone having barbeques, chimeras and firepits in their gardens. Let alone waste incinerators and so on to get rid of rubbish.
