I have spotlights in my loft conversion bedroom and when its windy they create an awful draught. Cool air blows throught them despite the loft being insulated. During very windy weather I had to remove the bulbs and stuff the ceiling holes. Has anyone ideas to overcome this problem or come across this before ?

if you can gain access behind them and there is enough room ( minimum clearances are required 'cos of heat/fire risks ) put a box of fireproof stuff over them. (maybe big pottery flower pots with the holes blocked off.
make sure you observe the clearance required though or you house will get very draughty after it burns!!!
