crystal ball

Need a crystal ball or a clear glass ball to resemble it for a play.The real things are too expensive, and glass ball shaped lampshades appear to be like hen's teeth.Any suggestions, anybody?

Have you tried www.ebay.co.uk ? Not sure what constitutes too expensive, but there are a few up for auction there.

Xmas decoration? they seem to be in the shops now (horror). Those glass fishing weights they used to have in fish and chip shops would be ideal. A paperweight? One of those extra big round lightbulbs?
