Cat Flap in window

I've just moved into a ground floor flat and would really like a cat. The problem is, because of the communal door to the flat block the only place to cat flap would be a window. Does anyone know if this is possible - and how I'd go about it? I have 3/4 length windows in the living room that would be ideal.
Thanks

My neighbours have a cat flap in their conservatory window, no idea how they got it in there but it must be possible...
yeah my mum has one, her back doors made of glass. i think if you ask any glazier they can just cut a hole in the glass, or they replace that pane or something to that effect!
You can get a glazier to cut a hole in a new piece of glass. Cost will depend on the type of glass, is it toughened, double glazed etc? Make sure that burglars cannot get a hand in to reach any window openers.
