A steam cleaner would be good. Dryheat and will not soak the mattress making it dry faster. It is also very hygenic and will kill off any dust mites that may be there.

Woolworths have reduced one their cleaners down to �20 I noticed. This one also doubles up as a floor cleaner and wall paper stripper too.
