scratches on my leather sofa

i recently bought a new leather sofa, my lovely (grrrr) cat decided that she wanted to scratch it a few times.

Does anyone know of a way to have the scratches repaired so they are not visible anymore?

There's no way that I know of to effectively hide the scratches. My cat has also scratched a (newly upholstered) leather sofa, but I am convincing myself that the leather will look better with age and vintage cat scratches, if that approach helps at all!

Treat the same way as shoes! Coloured boot polish ,make sure the polish is polished off well later.
