pressure cooker

hi all,
my mum has been given a pressure cooker
it is as good as new,
unfortunatly there is no instruction manuel with it, therefore no model number,
and never having used one dont know much
about them, it is a fairly modern one.
can anyone give her any advice on the use of it.

They all work much the same - but they are used differently for different things.

A good book would be ideal. Here's an example
