does paraffin damage plants

i have an allotment with a 20 foot greenhouse on it an used paraffin previously but thought about the smelly ordour it gives off also the black smoke which lands on my plants etc as i am trying to go ozone friendly but looking at the weather forecast lately it is not to good as i have many plants veg etc in the house in trays but need to make use of the green house as this is much better sun light when we get any would be grateful of any good tips megan

Ihaven't used one since. I suggest that, if you can't bring the plants into the house, you use newspaper or fleece to throw a "blanket" over them.
