cultivating neighbours land

I have grown vegetables on a piece of land at the bottom of my neighbours garden for over 20 years , do I have any ownership rights to that piece of land?

Rather depends if you are doing it with his permission or have you just 'adopted' his land, and maintained it. If the latter, you may have rights.

As I believe it, your neighbour is still the occupier of his land so you have no right to it.

Sorry, but this really rattles my chain and I fully support thicko2006 in that you should be looking to compensate your neighbour for his generosity instead of trying to steal his land.

Yes, we have always given a regular supply of produce to the owner of the land. The lady died recently which prompted my question to answerbank.I wanted to know if we held any legal weight to the purchase of the land?
