Frogd, Toads and Fish
1 Answers
Recently we noticed a toad (we think its a toad) holding on the back of one of our koi carp fish.
We had great difficult in seperating the toad and the fish.
Since this attack by the toad it has also jumped on the back of a starlet fish as well.
Can toads harm the fish?
What can we do to prevent this from re-occuring in the future?

Not really an answer, but I once had to pull a frog off the head of one of my koi's. The frog hag dug its front legs into the eye sockets and was holding on so hard it was quite hard to dislodge. Although the koi's eyes had popped out of their sockets, it did eventually recover and swam about quite happily until it, and his other 15 friends, were eaten by an otter.
