Antique french male and female figurines

Can anyone help me. My mother has some french figurines of which I am not familiar with and would really like to find out a bit more about them. The trouble is they do not have any indication of who they were made by and only have one stamp of BU771 and BU772 on the other. The ideal way around this would be to take them to The Antiques Roadshow, however this is on whilst I am at work.. Does anyone know any information on how I can find more information on the web.
