I am being ripped off something rotten by Scottish Power and have been onto uSwitch which seems to come down in favour of Atlantic Energy. I'm ashamed to say I've never heard of them. Does anybody have any experience - good or bad - of switching to these people?

http://www.atlanticeg.com/OurCompany/Default.a spx I havent heard of them either, but on their site you are supposed to be able to work out the price for your area. I feel as if everyone rips you off these days.
The original Atlantic went bust a few years back, the accounts were bought out by an energy giant who still use the trading name. Nothing to lose if they give you a better deal.

I was hoping to hear from someone who had actually changed to Atlantic Energy from another supplier. Comments on smoothness of change, customer service, living up to promises on cost savings, etc. Is there anybody out there with this experience?
Uswitch also said they would be best for me a year or so ago. No problem with the switch, and I got my first cashback payments just before Christmas (v handy!).

I pay by DD and their estimates were a bit off - I overpaid for gas and underpaid for electric but they changed the amounts over the phone and transferred the gas balance over to electric. No problems at all.
scottish Power supplied our gas and electric but they failed to take direct depit payments set up by me so I was left with big bill when I changed to Southern Electric. Will not return to them
