I am new to gardening and I want to create a quirky centre piece to my garden by planting in an old toilet (bowl + cistern) with trailing plants. Have you any suggestions what would work best? Thanks, cj-mac

some holly and some lovely bits of heather make sure u shut the lid , you do not want a cat to get stuck down there
Instead of burying your loved ones, leave the top off the coffin and plant seeds inthe corpse.

The coffin can double as a brass handled functional planter, while the contents can offer a long standing source of compost and nutrition for the seedlings.

So your loved ones can live a meaningful life and enjoy a useful death.

And it's eco friendly and doesn't mean we have to dig up our wonderful earth.

You know it makes sense...

i love it its better then my idea well done !!!!
It's also probably best to rivet the body firmly in place so it doesn't get stolen.

There are some sick people out there...
lmao ahhahahh poor cj - try your libary for books on gardening they will put you in the right direction and give u some inspiration x
I would build a small shed around it and use it as an oudoor loo. Remember the times when you are up to your eyes in manure and you get the urge to go!. Hope this helps.
