new pond
2 Answers
we recently moved into a house with a pond. 3 weeksago we cleaned it out as it was thick with leaves,we added a water chemical to balance the mains water.
At first it was fine but over the last week it has become greener and has a sort of green foam on top.
we added plants to oxegenate the water as there are 6 fish.
please help i'm a complete novice in ponds!!

get a pump, filter & uv light. these come in various formats and sizes.
try 'bradshaws' online (they can send a catalogue ) or a local garden/water center.
the pump is obvious
the filter cleans the water
the uv light kills off the green alge that is making the water murky.
some filters have a built in uv light,
so do a bit of research and make sure you talk to the older/more experianced chap/girl at the local center.
