Urgent duvet help needed!
14 Answers
Putting a cover on a single duvet is child's play but how on earth do you put one on a kingsize especially if you're on your own. I bought one yesterday and have given up trying until help is given as I'm cross - and worn out. Please help me?

I then put my hands into the cover and find the farthest away corners. When I've done that, I grab hold of the corners of the duvet, and then gently shake the remainder of the cover over the duvet so that it's a fair way down. I then remove my hands, and grab the same corners I was just holding, from the outside, and shake the duvet and the cover so that the cover falls all the way to the other end of the duvet. A bit of jiggling about and getting duvet corners into cover corners, and you're done! This probably sounds completely ridiculous, but it's the only way I can do it and, I promise, it does get easier the more you do it! Good luck!
Just happened to be in the right place at the right time, I guess, Cetti! Yes, sometimes men can be so dismissive can't they!!! :-D Anyway, I hope the instructions are clear enough so that your hub doesn't get tangled up and lost forever inside your new cover! I'm sure you'll both sleep well after all your efforts! Night night!!
Cetti, I don't know if you're a male or female, but if you are female you will know exactly what crocodile clips are. If you're male, they're things that women use in their hair, and they are also perfect for helping with lone duvet stuffing. Simply get the top two corners of the duvet into the cover and hold them in place with crocodile clips. You then have your hands free to stuff the rest of the duvet into the cover. Makes this horrid job a lot easier.
I did once hear the flippant suggestion that given whenever you pull your duvet cover out of the washing machine everything else in the wash has ended up neatly inside the cover, the simple solution is to put duvet & cover in the machine, run a cycle & hey presto!
Ok, it's daft, but if you're cross & worn out it might make you smile.
