How can I stop a small rug sliding on a lino floor? The rug didn't cost much so I don't want to spend much, if any, on this.

You can buy a spray to treat the back of your rug from most carpet shops. It's simply called anti-slip spray and it works a treat.

or just use that old Blue Peter favourite, double-sided sticky tape. works wonders too.

Ikea do a rubber mesh stuff that works wonders, very cheap too.

Many thanks for your great answers. I think I'll try brawburd's suggestion, though not from Ikea (too far away) I'm sure I saw something similar more locally.
