oil heater or electric?

We are looking at getting some heaters and want to know which one is the most energy and cost efficient, oil heaters, gas heaters, electric bar heaters or any other one that you may know we can get. hope you can help

i would say gas, all gas fired heaters have to pass an energy efficency test.
