We are relocating from London to Leeds, and have no idea which areas are 'good' and which are best avoided. We would probably need to be to the East of the city, and are prepared to look at both town and village areas. Any help would be really appreciated, thank you.

In my opinion, Barwick in Elmet is nice (and a bit posh) as is Roundhay, avoid Gipton, Little London, Beeston and Holbeck.

My friend lived in Whitkirk and it seemed nice - schools seemed good, parks etc. Maybe someone who lives there can correct me if I'm wrong though?!
