How to remove scorch marks from clothing

washables; light marks will disappear if you soak the fabric in cold milk.any traces should be dabbed with a solution of soapy water with 1 teaspoon of borax added,then rinse.
non washables; sponge repeatedly with a warm borax solution -dissolve 2 teaspoons in 1pt of hot water.wring out a cloth in the solution and rub the scorch area. do this several times,then sponge with a cloth wrung out in clea n water.
