wot are these creatures?

they are tiny brown things with a kind of beatle shell body an ive been finding them in my food cupboards inside my weetabix box and opened biscuit packs and on top of food tins basically everywhere where there is food,they only seem 2 appear when the weather gets warmer,ive had them for the last 2 summers now and im sick of cleanin the cupboards out an throwin food away bcoz of the little buggas! lol any help in identifyin these wud be much appreciated.

they are weevils. you will have to dump all your flour and weetabix etc from that cupboard and give it and the containers a good clean. they are harmless, but I wouldn.t want to eat them. they just seem to turn up in wheat products if you leave them for a long while.

They don't taste very nice I'm sorry to say. We now keep everything in lock n lock containers.

i had the same problem, after a similar problem i know keep the flour in the fridge
